About Us
The Tayside Wheelchair Outreach Project is a small charity-funded organisation which was founded in 1995 with the support and help of NHS Tayside. The project group consists of a committee as well as dedicated occupational therapists who deal with all the assessments and training sessions.
The project operates within Tayside and provides services to people from Dundee, Perth & Kinross and Angus. It is funded by charitable donations with no monies received from any other statutory source. It is supported through the provision of facilities, management and administration by the Assistive Technology Service of NHS Tayside.
